I am NOT ready to go back to work tomorrow. I keep thinking about it. I have wondered if I could possibly get a sub...I mean, I am coughing. I have a theory. I think kids should go back to school with subs for the first week after Christmas break and let teachers have an extra week to regroup after everyone goes back, to take down all the decore and just SLEEP and maybe even go on a small secluded spa vacation. I mean, is that too much to ask??? Could the legislature possibly put in for a week break and a spa package for the teaching population?? What do you think?
I think it should be a mandatory thing. Just think how much more effective we would be. Maybe we could start one of those internet petitions with a million signatures on it and send it to the legislature??? Let me know what you think!!

Okay...another connection we have. First we named our child the same name. Then we have the same career?! (Or maybe those happened in reverse order) Actually, I'm not teaching now but that is what I did prior to having kids. Sometimes I think I should go back and do it again now that my kids are both in school....just haven't taken the leap yet.
How weird is that?? I am trying to go back to school to get my secondary teaching certificate so I can move up to the big kids. That is where my passion is! What were you teaching?? I do love it, just hit burn out sometimes!
I will sign the petition for you. You need an extra break so the kids can calm down from all the sugar from the holidays. Then when you return from the week long spa adventure you have a better chance of teaching semi-sain kids.
