Yep, you might call us crazy, because we have announced that we are moving AGAIN! Some people are just not meant to stay in one spot for too long a period. I would love to say this is our final move..that we will never move again. But that just cannot be set in stone yet, I mean, One day I would like to serve a mission with dear husband, one day, I would like to live near an ocean, so as you can see, this may not be the final move, HOWEVER. I can see myself growing old in this home, especially once we renovate it and add on. I can see myself on a snowy December night, lounging in front of the fireplace and reading a good book whilst my kids hang out around me, or grandkids, one day, come to stay and play. I can see myself in the renovated garden, planting, harvesting, taking in the dark earth. I can see a pond (or better yet, a pool) with candles and lillies floating on it, while music plays and people come for a bbq or games or to sit by the firepit. Maybe one day there will be a wedding reception there, in the back yard...maybe the dogs will run and frolic and chase the ball and the birds.
But for now, we rest asured that this is the right decision for us. It is a sacrifice but a blessing as well. You see, it is our time to get prepared for the days ahead. To plan for our family. To make sure goals are met. It is our time to give service to Kris' grandma, who will be 100 in august. To help her financially. To give some measure of service back to a woman who has loved us unconditionally. Who has listened and agreed, who has loved and been so full of energy and joy. She is remarkable. What a blessing to serve her now!
So you might call us crazy, but when you look at this experience through our eyes and our hearts, you will just call us Blessed!

Well, I might call you crazy ... but for entirely different reasons (LOL), I think you are blessed and following the spirit and your family heart. We are so sorry to see you go as we hoped you would find your dreams in our well loved (that sounds truer than old)home but we are definately happy for you and admire your willingness to serve with such Christ like love and gratitude. Love you tons Polsons!
Ah, the way you paint the picture, your house sounds like heaven! We will definitely be part of the crowd hanging out in your backyard...playing sentence to picture of course!
Crazy? Not at all, look at the number of times I have moved? You know how much I love old houses too. There's nothing like family heirlooms and it sounds like you'll be living in one. I'm so proud of the kids too, what support huh? We love you! Let us know when you're settled.
You have so many dreams for your new home, which is so fun and exciting. I will really miss you and Caitlyn, but I know you will make friends wherever you go!
