These Aren't a few of my favorite things

i just plain dont feel good today, so I thought I would compose a little song, summing it all up!
To the tune of "My favorite things" from Sound of Music

It started on Sunday, when our household was cursed
First it was Caitlyn, then Kris got it worse
No body came to church with me
These aren't a few of my favorite things

Monday was better, but it was a fluke
By tuesday, Nick and Caitlyn both thought they might Puke
I left them both home all day long by them selves
These aren't a few of my favoite things

When the kids cough, when the dogs bark
When my husbands gone
I simply can't think of how bad i feel
Or the weeks will drone on and on

Wednesday came with a 5am statement
Mom, I think I have a fever "oh, elatement"
Nick had been struck with some sickly thing

Off to the Dr, to wait for an hour
After swabbing his nose, Nick has super flu power
So off to the pharmacy, thru blowing snow
These aren't a few of my favorite things

How much will that new drug cost
Maybe $110.00 Bucks
I simply can't think of how bad I feel
But my co-pay made me thank, my lucky ducks!!

So, now it is Friday, the weeks almost done
Nicks getting better, but I've just begun
Im coughing and stuffy and Kris leaves for Maine
